Indonesian Sport Innovation Review (INSPIREE) https://inspiree.review/index.php/inspiree <p>Indonesian Sport Innovation Review (INSPIREE) is an journal which provides a focal point for the publication of social science research on Sport and the wide range of associated Sport Education, Sports achievements, Sport history, Sport social, Sport cultural, Sport law, political, sport tourism, Sport Psychology and ethical issues in physical activity, sport and health.</p> <p>The journal concentrates both on the forms, contents and contexts of physical education, sport and health education found in schools, colleges and other sites of formal education, as well as the pedagogies of play, calisthenics, gymnastics, sport and leisure found in familial contexts, sports clubs, the leisure industry, private fitness and health studios, dance schools and rehabilitation centres.</p> <p><strong>Publication Frequency</strong></p> <p><strong>INSPIREE</strong> is published 3 times a year. To find out the increase in sprint learning outcomes through a play approach in class VIII students of SMP Perguruan Budi Agung Marelan for the 2019/2020 academic year.</p> <p><strong>Materials and methods</strong>. This research is in the form of Classroom Action Research (PTK). This research was conducted using a play teaching style as the main target. Presentation in an effort to improve learning outcomes for sprint running through a play approach to grade VIII junior high school students. This type of classroom action research is carried out in two cycles, each of which consists of 4 stages as follows: 1) Planning, 2) Acting, 3) Observing), 4) Reflecting.</p> <p><strong>Results</strong>. From the action sprint learning to improve in cycle II, namely by using the play approach method, we can see that from 28 students only 24 students (85.71%) have achieved completeness scores, while 4 students (14.28%) have not achieve mastery learning.</p> <p><strong>Conclusions</strong>.
