This study's purpose is to report on the early stage physiotherapists' intervention on patients with hamstring strains as recommended in the early stage management of sports injuries.</p> <p><strong>Materials and methods. </strong>This study is a case report from of a patient who has a hamstring strain with complaints of pain and decreased range of motion of the knee joint. Physiotherapists provide ultrasonic therapy with isometric contraction exercises on the hamstring muscles for 4 sessions for 2 weeks.</p> <p><strong>Results.</strong> Ultrasound therapy and isometric contraction exercises increased the range of motion of the knee joint by 60% (active) and 50% (passive). Pain reduction also occurred by 83% for active motion pain and 80% for passive motion pain.</p> <p><strong>Conclusions.</strong> The physiotherapy interventions with ultrasonic therapy and isometric contraction exercise therapy is in accordance with the early stage rehabilitation for the case of hamstring strains. Both of these conditions affect the movement and function of the human body. The Physiotherapy study program considers it important to continue to provide service to the elderly community in Kelurahan Cawang, which is a fostered area of the Fakultas Vokasi.</p> <p><strong>Materials and methods.</strong> Program socialization with health education videos for the elderly exercises for arthritis pain and hypertension were options to continue providing community service during a pandemic. Empowerment of public health agents and families is also carried out to disseminate information about the health of the elderly in terms of hypertension and arthritis pain which are prepared by lecturers of the physiotherapy study program.</p> <p><strong>Results.</strong> With the health educational video, the elderly still pay attention to their health even though they are not as effective as usual.</p> <p><strong>Conclusions.</strong> As the conclusion, the elderly still felt helped and were enthusiastic about participating in the health educational videos provided by the lecturers.</p> 2021-03-27T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2021 Weeke Budhyanti, Lucky Anggiat, Citra Puspa Juwita https://inspiree.review/index.php/inspiree/article/view/41 Exercise Motivation Levels on Student Activity Unit (UKM Basketball) at Universitas Djuanda 2021-02-27T13:59:07+07:00 Firdaus Hendry Prabowo Yudho firdaus_hendri@unsur.ac.id Aditia Nugroho firdaus_hendri@unsur.ac.id <p><strong>Tujuan penelitian. </strong>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa tinggi tingkat motivasi latihan atlet ketika melaksanakan latihan. Latar belakang dari pada penelitian ini adalah adanya ketidak konsistenan tingkatan prestasi yang ditunjukkan oleh Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Bola Basket Universitas Djuanda Bogor. </p> <p><strong>Metode penelitian. </strong>Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, melalui metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode survei terhadap anggota tim Bola Basket yang terdiri dari 20 orang. Data berupa nilai angket pada skala likert di olah menggunakan statistik sederhana SPSS Versi 26 untuk mengetahui nilai statistik deskriptif sebagai hasil akhir penelitian.</p> <p><strong>Hasil dan pembahasan. </strong>Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkatan motivasi atlet yang mengikuti latihan pada Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) bola basket di Universitas Djuanda Bogor berada pada mayoritas sedang. Hasil tersebut berdasarkan pertimbangan frekuensi terbanyak berada pada kriteria sedang 40%. Motivasi atlet pada kriteria sangat tinggi sebesar 5%, tinggi 20%, kurang 20% dan sangat kurang 15%.</p> <p><strong>Kesimpulan. </strong>Persentase motivasi yang terungkap dari penelitian ini memiliki di dominasi kategori sedang, dengan presentase yang kurang lebih besar presentase nya dibanding presentase tinggi 25%&lt;35%. Hal ini dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan untuk dapat mengevaluasi program latihan psikologis dan mental training terhadap para atlit klub bola basket tersebut untuk pencapaian prestasi yang lebih baik lagi.</p> 2021-03-19T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2021 Firdaus Hendry Prabowo Yudho https://inspiree.review/index.php/inspiree/article/view/34 Brain Vitalization Exercise To Improve Cognitive Function Of Young Adults 2021-01-29T20:58:37+07:00 Lisnaini Lisnaini lisnaini@uki.ac.id <p><strong>The purpose of the study.</strong> to know that exercise can enhance the function of the brain vitalization cogitif in young adulthood.</p> <p><strong>Materials and methods.</strong> The sample selected from all the students of the Academy of Physiotherapy in accordance with the inclusion criteria, totaling 20 people. Given treatment vitalization brain gymnastics 16 times, 4 times a week for 4 weeks. Quasi-experimental research is a Group Designs with pre and post test design group designs. For the measurement of cognitive function that is used Digit Span subtest subtes Forward and Backward digit. Test statistical analysis used the Wilcoxon-test.</p> <p><strong>Results. </strong>The function of cognition shows the mean pre-exercise 9.15 (± 1.7) and the mean value after gymnastics 15.85 (± 1.13). The purpose of this study was to determine the motivation level of society to sport in the corona virus environment. This type of research is descriptive and qualitative.</p> <p>Materials and methods. The population in this study were the people of Kampar sub-district. this Kampar district has a population of 45.575 people. Sampling in this study using random sampling techniques, namely taking members of the sample randomly from the population. So that the total sample of this study is 50 from Kampar sub-district. The research instrument used through questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is to calculate the percentage of the society level of motivation.</p> <p>Results. Kampar sub-district society to sport in the corona virus environment is included in the value range of 21%-40% or in the low category with a percentage of 37.8%.</p> <p>Conclusions.
